We’re a young, passionate team who love motorcycles, the outdoors, and especially the Otways. We’ve created Otway Adventure Motorcycles to share the exact rides we enjoy ourselves—laid-back, scenic, and full of camaraderie.
About
Ryan Dodson
Ryan went a long time between bikes, but everything changed around 2010 when he bought his boys their first Peewee 50—and a bike for himself to follow them around. Many bikes and over a decade later, the boys are now riding full-sized bikes and often leave Ryan in their mud or dust, whether they’re tearing through the Otways or blasting across the desert.
These days, Ryan still loves any excuse to get on two wheels. From enduro tracks to open desert or cruising on an adventure bike, riding remains his ultimate stress release. With total focus on the trail ahead, there’s no space for stress—just the ride.

Steve Menzel
Steve’s passion for motorcycles began at just six years old, when his dad brought home a KX60. From that moment, tearing around the paddocks of the family farm became second nature.
Over the years, his love for all things motorised only grew—whether it was dirt bikes, quads, sports bikes, Harleys, or adventure bikes, Steve has ridden them all. From long road trips along quiet country backroads to coffee runs to Lorne on the Harley, or adrenaline-fueled blasts through the desert with mates, he finds peace and joy in every ride.
